Madhya Pradesh tourism is incomplete without a visit to Khajuraho. Khajuraho is located in the Chattarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. An UNESCO World Heritage site. Founded in the 16th centuary by Rudra Pratap Singh, the Bundela Rajput chief, who rose to become the first King of Orchha. He built the Orccha Fort & the subsequent rulers continued with the legacy & gifted Orchha with the famed Jehangir Mahal (Palace ), the Raj Mahal & the Ram Lala temple. Mandu, located in the district of Madhya Pradesh, is a romantic tribute to love & it’s eternal virtues. The love story of Baz Bahadur & Rani Roopmati haunts visitors who visit this fortress town. Feel revitalized at the Jahaz Mahal, Rani Roopmati’s pavilion & Baz Bahadur’s palace

Madhya Pradesh tourism’s precious divine jewel is Ujjain. Ujjain is the most sacred of the 12 jyotirlingas as the lingam at the Mahakal is believed to be swambhu ( self born ). Yjjain also hosts the “Simhasta Kumbh” every 12 years drawing millions of faithful to pay special reverence to the temple of Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga & take a dip in the holy Shipra river.

Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh hosts Omkareshwar, one of the 12 jyotirlingas. The Omkareshwar & Mamleshwar temples attracts devotees. The holy river Narmada flows beside Omkareshwar & is home to one the world’s biggest dam project.

Amarkantak is in the Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh. It’s the origin point of the Holy Narmada, Sone & the Johila river & hence considered very pious.
